Count it All Joy

mamalifeblessedlif

Did you know there are no bad days? You physically cannot have a bad day.

The first chapter of Genesis says the world was all void and darkness until God spoke light into existence. He called the light day and the darkness he called night.

And God said that it was good.

Now that doesn’t mean you can’t have a hard day especially when you are faced with things of this world: death, heartache, inconveniences, frustrations, or trials and suffering. And yet the Bible covers this too.

In the book of James, it says to count it all joy when you are faced with trials because through your trials you will gain patience.

And in Galatians we learn that patience is a fruit of the spirit. You need patience! Patience will help you walk with God.

So how do we walk in joy whenever we are faced with trials?

Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

First, we must recognize that today was made by God, and it is good. No matter the storm you are facing in this life, we know who controls the storm and He is good.

Secondly, we stop to be glad in today. Take a moment to count your blessings, to find the beauty in the day, to find something that is good about today because today was designed by God.

And then count it all joy
